When we started down the route of Art we set a 5 year plan and goals to reach and achieve this plan. We created the first two paintings which flew out the doors and they were both purchased within a week of posting our creation. This was an amazing high of emotions and it really lit a flame in us and gave real momentum for us to go ahead and achieve our goals.
Within 2 weeks of the first two paintings being sold, we were busy working in the background, going ahead with our plan. We were riding the emotional high and wanted to share our good news with the world. We posted an Instagram stating that our first two works had been sold. Within 2 days of us uploading the post on Instagram we had received an email from the owner of The Drang Gallery. This gallery was in our 5 year plan as one of a number of Galleries that we would potentially approach as our 5 year plan takes affect. With an air of apprehension (thinking someone may be trolling or scamming us) we replied to the email and travelled down to the South West coast of England to meet with the owners of the Gallery. We were ecstatic and couldn't believe that we had achieved such an amazing accomplishment in such a time span.
We produced 6 pieces of work for the Gallery and they put them up in their four locations around the U.K, these works flew out the door and all 6 of our works sold within the first week of them hanging them in the Gallery.
We then produced a second batch of work for the gallery. This time it consisted of 8 works in various sizes, again these works didn't stay in the gallery for very long with the second collection of work all selling out within two and a half weeks. This was after a slight increase in price and once again we were surprised and elated with the results.
This was an amazing and exciting start to our life with The Drang Gallery and long may it continue. To view our current works with The Drang Gallery and for all enquiries please contact the gallery, the link is attached:
